People regard metal as the "evil" or "satanic" medium of music. I believe this to be true in the sense that it is the freethinking, intelligent man's music. people that have enough thought to decide for themselves what is enjoyable. metal is the genre of people who do not follow the norm or subscribe to music they are told to enjoy i.e. pop music. Pop music represents the other side of the spectrum; blind faith and following of music you are told to like, music with no intellectual depth. Pop music takes the place of Christianity and faux spirituality in this example. so the next time someone asks you if you listen to the devils music, say yes, and be proud.
